Richard & Jennifer have been teaching & competing for more than 30 Years. They retired from professional competition in 1994 and opened Booth’s Dancesport Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. They organize the Colorado Star Ball Dancesport Championships and with partner Tom Hicks, the Golden State Challenge. Their status as National Adjudicators allow Richard & Jennifer to officiate at many dancesport competitions across North America including such prestigious events as The US Championships & The Ohio Star Ball. As President of the Professional Dancers Federation Richard has been instrumental in many rule changes to help dancesport professionals.

Their Accomplishments Include:

  • Professional Competitors from 1986-1997

  • Former United States Southwest Regional Champions

  • United States National Top Teachers 1992-93

  • Championship finalists in the U.S., in American Smooth & International Standard
  • Certified “National Judges” and Championship Adjudicators

  • Richard is President of the Professional Dancer’s Federation (PDF)

  • Jennifer is former President of the U.S. Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance

  • Jennifer has also been an off-ice consultant to the Olympic Ice Dance Training Camp

  • Both have taught and coached U.S. National Champions
